Anna Konkina was born on July 14, 1947.

The Russian rider was a double world championship and stood another two times on the podium.

Konkina won the 1970 World Championship Road Race in front of Morena Tartagni of Italy and Raisa Obodovskaia of the Soviet Union.

Konkina also won the 1971 World Championship Road Race in front of Morena Tartagni of Italy and Keetie Van Oosten-Hage of the Netherlands.

Konkina was 3rd in the 1967 World Championship Road Race behind Beryl Burton of Great Britain and Lyubov Zadorojnala of the Soviet Union.

Konkina was also 3rd in the 1972 World Championship Road Race behind Genevieve Gambillon of France and Lyubov Zadorojnala of the Soviet Union.
