  Romans Vainsteins

Romans Vainsteins was born on March 3, 1973.

The Latvian rider won the World Championship Road Race and stood on the podium of the Paris-Roubaix Classic.

Vainsteins won the 2000 World Championship Road Race in front of Zbigniew Spruch of Poland and Oscar Freire of Spain.

Vainsteins was also 3rd in the 2001 Paris-Roubaix Classic behind Servais Knaven of Holland and Johan Museeuw of Belgium.
