Jules Van Hevel was born on March 10, 1895. He died on July 21, 1969.

The Belgian rider won two of the five monuments in cycling.

Van Hevel won the 1924 Paris-Roubaix Classic in front of Maurice Ville of France and Felix Sellier of Belgium.

Van Hevel was also 3rd in the 1925 Paris-Roubaix Classic behind Felix Sellier of Belgium and Piero Bestetti of Italy.

In addition, Van Hevel won the Tour of Flanders Classic in 1920.
