Ambroise Garin was born on May 10, 1875. He died on March 31, 1969.

The French rider stood on the podium of the Paris-Roubaix Classic three times.

Garin was 2nd in the 1901 Paris-Roubaix Classic behind Lucien Lesna of France.

Garin was also 3rd in the 1899 Paris-Roubaix Classic behind Albert Champion of France and Paul Bor of France.

In addition, Garin was 3rd in the 1902 edition behind Lucien Lesna of France and Edouard Wattelier of France.
