Oscar Camenzind was born on September 12, 1971.

The Swiss rider won the World Championship Road Race.

He also won two of the five monuments in cycling.

Camenzind won the 1998 World Championship Road Race in front of Peter Van Petegem of Belgium and Michele Bartoli of Italy.

Camenzind also won the Tour of Lombardy Classic in 1998.

In addition, he won the Liege-Bastogne-Liege Classic in 2001.
