Yvonne Reynders was born on August 4, 1937.

The Belgian rider was a proven performer in the World Championship Road Race.

Reynders won four World Championship Road Race titles.

Reynders won the 1959 World Championship Road Race in front of Aino Pouronen of the Soviet Union and Vera Gorbatcheva of the Soviet Union.

Reynders won the 1961 World Championship Road Race in front of Beryl Burton of Great Britain and Elsy Jacobs of Luxembourg.

Reynders won the 1963 World Championship Road Race in front of Rosa Sels of Belgium and Aino Pourenen of the Soviet Union.

Reynders won the 1966 World Championship Road Race in front of Keetie Van Oosten-Hage of the Netherlands and Aino Pouenen of the Soviet Union.

Reynders was 2nd in the 1962 World Championship Road Race behind Marie-Rose Gaillard of Belgium.

Reynders was 2nd in the 1965 World Championship Road Race behind Elisabeth Eicholz of Germany.

Reynders was also 3rd in the 1976 World Championship Road Race behind Keetie Van Oosten-Hage of the Netherlands and Laura Bissoli of Italy.
